Fall Home Decor

Happy first day of fall! Fall + Home Decor = A very happy Elizabeth. Fall is my favorite season and I’m celebrating today by giving you a taste of how I sprinkle a couple of pumpkins throughout my home. So grab your pumpkin spiced latte and a cozy blanket for a quick tour. Welcome to my home.

Last year I decorated the front porch in more traditional harvest colors, orange, yellows, and burgundy. This year I wanted to change things up and add my favorite hues of green with touches of white. I actually pulled my inspiration from the wreath on my front door which I purchased at Marshalls. As for the garland and pumpkins, they are from Michael’s and when I saw that they came in the perfect colors to compliment my wreath, I knew they were a GO! I mean, the leaves on the garland matched the pumpkins. This had to happen.

The chrome lanterns on my porch are from Target and I use them all year round. They are great and affordable. They’re like the little black dress in your closet and go with everything so they switched out of their summer gear and are now dressed up with pumpkins and gourds. I can’t take credit for the mums. My husband was super sweet and picked them up for me in my favorite color.  They totally gave the porch the pop of color it needed to tie everything together.

I love staple pieces. This glass display dome lives on my entryway table. It’s so easy to switch out decor pieces in it! I fell in love with these teeny baby pumpkins which I found in the most dangerous place on earth, Target’s bulls eye section. The silver pumpkins is a Home Goods find from last year.

I wanted to keep the color story going and let the colors seep into the living room. If you did not notice from my past blog post on spring decor, I have a thing for teal and cool blues. I fell in love with this pretty garland. It has the perfect touches of fall colors and leaves. I love this garland so much that I want to keep it up all year round.

There is no such thing as too many pumpkins. The home decor Gods and I were in sync this year with the cool tone theme for fall. I thought I was going to have to spray paint everything to match but these pumpkins are absolutely perfect and add coziness and warmth to the space.

The silver and mint colored felt pumpkin are Home Goods finds. The acorn is from Michael’s.

Don’t these white pumpkins look real? I got them from the Marshalls clearance section. WINNING!

I also scattered a mix of glam and rustic fall decor onto the side tables and chest.

I LIVE for a good table scape. Growing up my mom always made sure that her dining room table was dressed with love. I now try to do the same.

The three tiered pumpkins were an amazing Home Goods find. The colors are so pretty. The garland is from Michael’s. I also got glue gun happy and started sticking some pinecones to it. Glue guns are life and allow you to get creative and make things your own. If you don’t have one, go out and get three.

I fell in love with the intricate weaving in this table runner that I found at Home Goods. The dinner plate is from the Martha Stewart collection. I’ve had these napkins for a few years. I think they add some flair to the tablescape. The salad plate is from Pier 1 Imports. The flatware is by Reed and Barton and the details of the leaves work perfectly for a fall theme.

I added these white pumpkins and harvest bouquet that includes fig and grape leaves to the dining room. The happy and thankful sign is from Pier 1 Imports. Candles are a great addition to any room, these mercury glass cable pillars are from Pottery Barn.

I kept things simple in the family room and only added orange pillows to the couch and added a weaved orange and tan throw blanket.  I found them both at Home Goods. Both of the pillow and throw are from Home Goods. This room was fairly easy to come together because my area rug already had bold orange prints.

I also added a cozy blanket and accent pillow to my husbands chair because husbands are allowed to have cozy moments too.

Thank you all for stopping by.  I hope I was able to give you a bit of fall inspo!
