If I knew then what I know now, I would have been all over the Ergo baby carriers with my twins. I’m so glad that we were invited to attend this awesome event. I got to mingle with the baby wearing community and new parents to be and it was held in a cool, modern, artsy place called A/D/O in Brooklyn, NY. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by big beautifully confetti filled balloons.
We also got to look at all the different choices of beautiful colors that ergo has for their carriers. Thank God I came with an appetite and contrary to popular belief, no, I don’t starve myself. The brunch spread included delicious home fries, bowls of oats, fruit, and more. The variety of drinks was everything and so yummy. I know, I tried them all.
Ergo definitely knew how to pamper us mammas. I got this amazing luxe face massage. It was so relaxing that I actually escaped for a bit and forgot where I was. It was super exciting to see all the great stuff at the vendor tables. One of my faves were the Twelve Little Diaper Bags and Kid Friendly Lunch Bags. We had a chance to customize the lunch bags with 2 adorable patches of our choice. I got major mom points when I went for the pizza patch. My son loves pizza.
I love DIY and always include a craft table at my personal events. So when I saw that we could make our own jewelry, I was all about that. Not only did I not have three toddlers tugging at me but I was able to do something for me and I have not been able to do that for a looonnng time. After speaking to the very nice rep from My Intent she recommended BREATHE and she was right. Three toddlers vs one mom, I need a reminder to breathe.
Another amazing vendor was, Zoe Organics. They gave us the chance to mix different oils based on what we needed most help with. Once I shared my story she recommended a nice blend for fatigue. It smelled heavenly. I’m seeing a theme here, fatigue… A need to remember to breathe…
There were so many crafts and fun games for the little ones who also came along. I ALMOST felt bad that I did not bring my children but then I remembered the lux face massage that I was able to have and the guilt went away real quick.
All in all I have to say it was a very knowledgable and fun event. I am glad I had the chance to attend and mingle with other influencers. We exchanged stories about how the Ergo Carrier changed our lives. I remember loving mine when my kids were infants. I had a lot of fun learning about the Ergo brand. Can you share with us how you loved your Ergo?
